When will we learn that software systems are buggy and remain so long into their lifetimes? This column questions the trust that people who do not understand this simple fact or more likely do not want to face up to it, place in such systems usually to somebody's detriment. The examples given here are classic examples of bullying incompetence and intransigence, not to mention ignorance. And now we have AI to add to the mix. Sigh.None yet9
